Barbara Marks, our new pastor, celebrates her first Sunday preaching with us THIS SUNDAY. Please join us in welcoming her to our church family.

Sunday Breakfast – Join us for breakfast the second Sunday of each month at the Elk’s Lodge. Breakfast will be served next Sunday, July 12th. A great breakfast is served downstairs from the ballroom, starting at 8:00 a.m. for just $6.00. Join us for fellowship and breakfast and then come upstairs to worship.
Sew ‘n’ Sew will continue meeting during the summer months. Next meeting will be Tuesday, July 14th at 10 a.m. at Heritage Commons (38 Boston Road, Middletown). Please bring a lunch. Coffee and dessert will be served. Contact Barbara Hendershot will any questions at 860-346-0467.

Amazing Grace Donations can now be brought to church any Sunday. Summer is a very important time for the food pantry. In addition to tuna and cereal, they are looking for donations of oatmeal, coffee and soup. The Missions committee will collect these items every Sunday and deliver to Amazing Grace. The Coordinator of Rides to The Elk’s Lodge in Middletown is Jill Bennett. Please contact Jill at 860-345-7382 if you are in need of a ride to our new location.

‘Imagine No Malaria’: Just a reminder, if anyone has any ‘Imagine No Malaria’ boxes, please return them a.s.a.p. FUMC has raised an astounding $2,040.20. It’s not too late to get those donations to the conference. We thank everyone for their tremendous efforts! (If anyone has any “Peace With Justice” envelopes, there is still time to get those in as well). Thank you!
