‘Who is Jesus and Why Does He Matter’ is our Lenten Sermon Series. Sunday's sermon is “Jesus, Man of the Hour”. Next week’s sermon will be “Jesus is Crucified” and on Easter we will discuss “Jesus is Risen”.
‘Imagine No Malaria’ boxes are still available. Don’t forget to pick one up and fill it with change, then return it when it’s full and pick up a new one. If you don’t have one yet, contact Stefanie at 860-346-3689 or pick one up on Sunday.

Coffee with the Pastor. Beginning Monday, March 23rd Stefanie Bennett will be at Brew Bakers (169 Main Street, Middletown) every Monday at 1 p.m. Consider yourself invited to join her for conversation. All are welcome to come for an ongoing conversation on all things related to faith and other stuff too.
Dinner With Friends will be meeting on Wednesday, March 25th at 6 p.m. at New England Emporium (in the Main Street Market, 386 Main Street, Middletown). All are welcome! Contact Stefanie with any questions at 860-346-3689.

If you do not receive a daily reflection of encouragement and hope please check your “publicity tab” or “spam folder”. They will also be found on our Facebook page. You can help the church greatly and FOR FREE by liking and sharing these on social media.
Donate your cans and bottles to help raise money for Imagine No Malaria. You can bring cans and bottles to the parsonage porch at 221 Ridge Road. Mel Hasbrouck will be taking them for deposit redemption for the next several months.
Amazing Grace Donations can now be brought to church any Sunday. In addition to tuna and cereal, they are looking for donations of oatmeal, coffee and soup. The Missions committee will collect these items every Sunday and deliver to Amazing Grace. Please contact Marsha Judson with any questions at 860-346-0005.
Maundy Thursday is Thursday, April 2nd. We will be joining Third Congregational Church for Maundy Thursday Service, 7:30 p.m. at Third Congregational Church, 94 Miner Street, Middletown. Please call the church office with any questions at 860-346-3689.
Mother’s Day Cards will be available for $10.00 starting after Easter. All proceeds will go towards ‘Imagine No Malaria’. Stay tuned for details.
FUMC is having an ‘Imagine No Malaria’ Fundraiser at FroyoWorld, 386 Main Street, Middletown on April 25th. 20% of all proceeds sold between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on that day will go towards FUMC’s ‘Imagine No Malaria’ campaign. Contact Marsha Judson for details at 860-346-0005. Please share this date with friends and invite everyone you know to come join us for Frozen Yogurt!
Tag Sale to benefit ‘Imagine No Malaria’ will be held on May 16th (with a rain date of May 30th). It will be held at the parsonage. Please start setting aside items to donate for sale. Contact Marsha Judson at 860-346-0005 to volunteer to help.
Sew ‘n’ Sew women may contribute to Heifer International in the offering plate with checks made out to FUMC with “Heifer” in the memo. Others too may want to contribute to this hunger related ministry, which Sew ‘n’ Sew has supported for several years. Contact Doris Swain with questions at 860-632-7877.
Upper Room Devotionals are available at the entrance to the Ballroom. These devotionals offer a short reading and reflection for each day. Please take one home.
Sing with the Choir. Choir practice is held at 9:15 a.m. each Sunday morning at the Elk’s Lodge. All are welcome and encouraged to participate. Come gather around the piano.
