If you would like to have a member to pray with you personally, please contact Dianne Clark at (860) 346-7345. Amazing Grace Donations - can now be brought to church any Sunday. In addition to tuna and cereal, they are looking for donations of oatmeal, coffee and soup. The Missions committee will collect these items every Sunday and deliver to Amazing Grace. First UMC Middletown's Board of Directors have been moving along on our Church Council commitment to proceed on bidding on land for the construction of a new church building. To learn more about what has been prepared for the next steps in this process, and what the process will look like from here forward, we urge you to attend our Church Council meeting this Sunday, 12 June, immediately following worship and fellowship. You will be invited to ask questions at the meeting, but if you have specific concerns that will require the meeting's attention, please do not hesitate to contact Pastor Barbara Marks or Church Council Chairperson John Parent ahead of time. Clean Water for Nicaraguans –The Accion Medica Cristina (AMC) goal to help provide water filters for Nicaragua. Connecticut District is asked to support this project by purchasing filters – at $50.00 per filter – So far we have collected $275.00 toward this mission…. LETS KEEP IT GOING!
