Save The Date – Charge Conference will be Wednesday, November 14, 2018. We are in the Meriden district, so our meeting will be held in that church. Please complete your reports by the end of October. Lay Servant Ministries – The Connecticut District Basic Lay Servant Ministry Course 2018 will be September 15th and September 22nd at the North United Methodist Church, in Hartford, CT. Registration is required by September 13, 2018. Please see Pastor Barbara Marks or call the church office for more details.
Summer Reading – Here are a couple of book suggestions for your summer reading or listening! “Waking Up White” and “Same Kind of Different As Me” - Check them out in the library, purchase online or visit the local bookstore. We will join together for a discussion in the fall with the Hartford UMC, and perhaps we will even go see the movie. Happy reading!

The Sew ‘n’ Sew’s – meet the second Wednesday of every month at 10 a.m. at Heritage Commons. Bring a brown bag lunch. Please see Rachel Titus for more information.
Back to School Supplies Needed! – It’s that time of year! Pencils, erasers, crayons, pencil boxes, notebooks and backpacks are needed for our youth attending the Middletown Public Schools. We can help by providing some of these basic supplies to support our local families within our community. Please bring your donations to the church August 19th & 26th. The Church office will be running on Summer Hours for the months of July and August and will be closed on Fridays.
