When Abraham Adzenyah comes to our church, his is a quiet and unassuming man - you'd never guess that he is such a talented musician in his own right, except for his indomitable spirit that shines though always. At Wesleyan University, though, he is a deeply respected professor who has contributed his mastery of West African drumming to students there for 45 years! On Friday, December 4th, at 8PM, Abraham will be offering In his final West African Drumming and Dance Concert as a faculty member at Wesleyan. He will be joined by students of choreographer and Artist in Residence Iddi Saaka and special guests. He will return next years for a farewell concert on May 7th.
