Sunday of Rest and Renewal Worship Service
June 11-14, 2020During these most challenging times we want to remind each of you to take good care of yourselves. As you are aware, our Annual Conference session has been postponed until this fall, but this gives us a window for much needed rest and renewal.
The dates for our Annual Conference (Thursday, June 11 – Sunday, June 14, 2020) should already be marked on your calendars. These are dates when you, as pastors, were already expected to be away from your pulpits and away from day-to-day activities. With this in mind, we encourage you to take these days as true sabbath, time for respite, rest and renewal.
To help you make this a truly restful time, on Sunday, June 14, 2020 we will offer a full Sunday Worship Service recording as a gift to our pastors and churches during these difficult times to be used in a manner that is most appropriate for your ministries.

Chairs for our sanctuary will be delivered on Tuesday, June 16th. If you can help with unloading please let me know!
Our Church building has received its Certificate of Occupancy! Praise God! Your prayerful Spirit and hard work has made it possble for a continued United Methodist Church presence in Middletown!
Bishop Bickerton Guidelines on Opening - is available on NYAC.com. It is strongly suggested that you read this letter. The Trutees will be in strict compliance with every item as we await the opening of our building. We need YOUR HELP! Sign up through an email sent today of what items you might be able to contribute.
Prayers With Social Distancing and Nature- Consider taking a walk around our new church building and surrounding neighborhoods or trails in prayer, thanking God for this building God has entrusted us with, and asking God how we will mission together with our neighbors as a community of faith.
St Vincent DePaul & Amazing Grace - Please continue to support these ministries in Middletown. So many are in need. Can you donate food, sandwiches, money...please see our home page and give any way you can.
