“It’s the most wonderful time of the year!” – or, is it? For those who find the Christmas season difficult for many reasons, the United Churches of Durham, First UMC of Middletown, and Middlefield federated Church will join together in hosting a Blue Christmas Service TODAY at 4pm. The name refers to the loneliness, sadness and grieving that people might experience during the holiday season – whether from negative memories, difficult losses, or from complicated personal relationships. Please invite a friend in need of gentle care. The service will be held at the United Churches of Durham, 228 Main Street, Durham, CT.
