Church Council Meeting, Sunday, April 10th – All First UMC Middletown members and regular attendees are invited to participate in our next church council meeting, starting after fellowship time at the Elks Lodge. We will review the findings from the Trustees on property research for possible relocation.
The Trustees Invite ALL Parishioners to join them Saturday, April 9th 9AM at the United Methodist Church, Branford, to see what our “what if” possibilities can be. The Branford Church started in one room…come see how it has grown, and learn how they have done it. Is this is how God is calling us? We would like as many people as possible to attend. Please contact the church office if you need a ride!
Located at 811 East Main Street, Branford, CT 06405. Office phone (203) 488-0549.
Updating our Prayer List – We want to be sure that our prayers are heard and supported, and that we can do this effectively. Please help us by contacting the Church office to indicate which of your prayer requests of yours on our current list should be active, and how long they should be active. By default, we will keep ne prayers on the list for six weeks, but feel free to indicate another time frame. If you would like to have a member to pray with you personally, please contact Dianne Clark.
Sunday Breakfast – Join us for breakfast the second Sunday of each month at the Elk’s Lodge. Breakfast will next be held Sunday, April 10th. A great breakfast is served downstairs from the ballroom, starting at 8:00 a.m. for just $6.00. Join us for fellowship and breakfast and then come upstairs to worship.
Amazing Grace Donations can now be brought to church any Sunday. In addition to tuna and cereal, they are looking for donations of oatmeal, coffee and soup. The Missions committee will collect these items every Sunday and deliver to Amazing Grace. Please contact Marsha Judson with any questions at 860-346-0005.
The Coordinator of Rides to The Elk’s Lodge in Middletown is Jill Bennett. Please contact Jill at 860-345-7382 if you are in need of a ride to our new location.
