*SUNDAY* Annual Church Conference is Oct 20th 2-4 in Meriden at First UMC! We will begin with worship, communion, and church recognition! It is our duty as Methodist to represent our piece of the connection! Our Trustees will be elected and our budget and Lay Leadership slate approved. The DS has promised to stop by for any questions or issues we might have for him. There is plenty of parking but ride sharing is always recommended.
Healing The Wounds of Grief & Trauma- Help for Ourselves and Others- We all have wounds of the heart to heal. This program is intended to help you explore your wounds in a safe place through Biblical teachings. The program will begin Wednesday, Oct 30, from 3:00-4:30, at 1 MacDonough Place, Middletown, and the consecutive five Thursdays from 2-4.The Cost of the program is $5 which includes the book. Please sign up or call 860-346-3689 to reserve a spot, deadline is Monday 10/21.
