The home has been decorated very tastefully inside, with modern colors and fixtures complementing the classic designs of an American home, and highlighting some of the beautiful furnishings that are a part of our legacy. We are excited to be bringing this property into new service, and so very grateful for our trustees, for the construction team, and for everyone who contributed to the success of this great day through setup, food, fellowship, and cleanup.
Members, friends, and neighbors of First United Methodist Church, Middletown had a wonderful time on Saturday, October 24th, as we celebrated and blessed anew our property at 221 Ridge Road, currently in use as our church office and outreach center, and for many decades the parsonage for our congregation. Pastor Barbara Marks blessed the home, using a 1940-era Book of Worship, alongside Connecticut District Superintendent Ken Kieffer and the many people in attendance.
